Chicago Red Stars forward, Mallory Swanson, was the youngest player since 2002 to debut in the United States National Women's Soccer Team at age 17. She represented the U.S. in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Summer Olympics, where she became the youngest Olympic goalscorer for the U.S.
She went on to win the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup, debut as a Chicago Red Star in 2021 and win gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she scored the only goal in the Olympic final.
